You know you’re taking too many art classes when . . .

. . . you are participating in a job interview and you spend the first few minutes looking at the play of light and shadows on the job candidate’s face. As you analyze the reflection of the light on the left cheek and forehead and notice the highlights and low lights you wonder how this would translate into pencil or fabric . . . and then realize that, perhaps, you should be listening to the answers the candidate is giving to the questions being asked about qualifications and interests.
